The Austin Healey 3000 came on the market in 1959 and production continued until 1967. The 3000 was the successor to its predecessor, the 100-6. However, the previous model had an engine with less displacement (2.6 liters) and less horsepower, compared to the 3000 which is equipped with a 2.9 liter engine.
During the 8 years of production of the popular Austin-Healey 3000, 3 different versions were released. These were the MK1, the MK2 and the MK3.
The “big Healey’s” series, which started with the Austin-Healey 100, is still a highly sought-after affordable classic among a wide audience, appreciated by the strong 6-cylinder engine, the appearance of a real beautiful sports car and the refined lines. designed by designer Gerry Coker.
