Jaguar MK IV – 1948

1948 Jaguar Mk 4 Drophead

This Jaguar was purchased by the last owner in 1997 from Gale Richard. He had bought the car in Jamaica in 1976 and shipped it to San Francisco and had it completely restored. He has done many shows and competitions with it, but the highlight was the 2500-mile journey that he made through France. Imagine, at the time, taking the car on the plane to make a trip and back home by plane. It is one of the rarest versions of the MK IV dropheads with the 2.4l engine. Only 73 copies built. The complete original tools are also still complete. The car is very nicely documented. A car with history and a world traveler.
