Colour dark red (Rosso Veneziano, AR colour code AR 537), combined with a beige cloth interior trimmed with light brown carpet. This beautiful Alfa Romeo ‘Nuova’ Giulietta was sold new in the Netherlands where the car has known only three caring owners from new. From new the car has driven 151.142 from new and the car was very well serviced and cared for. This Giulietta 1600 is in a very good to excellent original condition! The bodywork is completely sound, the paintwork is very good, and the interior shows only minimal signs of previous use. This Giulietta is a true time capsule! The Alfa Romeo ‘Nuova’ Giulietta was introduced in 1977 as the successor to the Giulia, which had been in production for fifteen years at the time. Technically the Giulietta was based on the slightly larger Alfetta. The Giulietta is a sporty sedan, very much coveted by sporty and stylish car enthusiasts of the period. With a twin-cam engine, disc brakes around, a “transaxle” 5-speed gearbox installed just in front of the rear suspension giving a near 50-50 weight distribution, and the de-Dion rear axle the Giulietta has a sports car setup. This Example is a terrific find for the Alfa Romeo collector and enthusiast, the car shows all the original details, and it drives perfectly.
