Jaguar SS1 Tourer 16HP – 1934
SS1 Tourer 16HP from 1934. Red with a beige interior and a black soft-top.
A real English pre-war Tourer with a smooth 6 cylinder engine.
Later, William Lions decided that the name SS was not the best choice after WW2.
Then the name Jaguar was introduced.
The 2.3 ltr. 6 cylinder engine has been completely overhauled and runs fantastic.
The photos and invoices of this expensive operation are of course present.
The carburetors have been overhauled and adjusted, as has the ignition.
The beige leather interior has the typical contours and stitching of the SS models.
The dashboard is authentic and very clear.
Good spoke wheels and good tyres.
Driving the SS Tourer is easy and smooth.
A unique car with a very good history.
A great addition to your Jaguar collection.
