MG MGA 1500 – 1957

This wonderful MGA 1500 roadster is in an excellent top condition and the car drives perfectly!
The car was extensively restored in the years 2020 – 2022.
The MGA is in our eyes the most beautiful MG design ever. The design dates to 1951, when MG designer Syd Enever created a streamlined body for an MG TD Le Mans car.
As successor of the MG TF the MGA was presented in 1955 as “first of a new line” sporting a sleek, modern, and super attractive bodywork, a comfortable ride, and excellent roadholding capabilities.
The MGA was a great success for MG, not only commercially, but also in the rally and racing competitions. Three MGA prototypes were entered in the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Two of the cars finished the race placing 12th and 17th overall, proving the worth of the new car. In the USA the MGA won numerous regional and national championships in the Sports Car Club of America competitions, and the MGA was raced in NASCAR from 1960 until 1963.
You may not have these sporting ambitions, but it is always nice to know the pedigree and capabilities of the classic sports car you are going to enjoy on the nicest roads you can find!
This wonderful MGA 1500 roadster is ready to be enjoyed to the fullest.
