Saab 93 TT – 1957

Mille Miglia Eligable

Saab 93 from 1957. Beige with a black-red interior.
In 2012 this 93 was imported from Sweden.
This classic Saab is in excellent condition.
The bodywork is particularly good and completely rust-free and very nicely painted.
The engine was overhauled and the rest of the technology is also very good.
In 2013, this Saab 93 drove the Mille Miglia as one of the 357 cars that participated that year. That year this was the only Saab that was driven.
The interior is equipped, especially for the Mille Miglia, with 2 sports seats and seat belts.
The original chairs are also included.

There is a very extensive file with the car containing its history dating back to the 1970s.

In 1957, Charlie Lohmander and Harald Kronegård were the only team ever to drive the Mille Miglia with a Saab 93. They registered as a private team, without anyone knowing anything about this at the Saab factory in Trollhattan and Sweden. Partly because of this, the very surprising victory in their class remained unknown in Sweden until they returned to their native country.
This participation made the Saab 93 the only Saab authorized to participate in the Mille Miglia.
