Friedrichshafen – Due to the corona crisis, Messe Friedrichshafen has to cancel the classic car fair for the second time: Motorworld Classics Bodensee cannot take place in the planned period from June 18 to 20, 2021. “Unfortunately, we see no chance that the current situation will improve to such an extent that we can successfully hold our beautiful classic car fair,” said division manager Roland Bosch in an exhibitor letter. So that the wait for the next Motorworld Classics Bodensee doesn’t take that long, the trade fair team has chosen a significantly earlier date for 2022: The next Motorworld Classics Bodensee is scheduled for April 1 to 3, 2022.
“Against the background that many exhibitors, clubs and vintage racing participants were hoping for the Motorworld Classics Bodensee to be held until the end, the necessity of today’s cancellation is a very emotional and bitter decision for us too. However, we believe that by announcing the new spring date for 2022, we will be very accommodating to the industry, ”says division manager Roland Bosch with conviction. “The health and well-being of our exhibitors and visitors as well as our own employees have absolute priority.” Such a cancellation is nevertheless very painful for the team. “We had developed a very exciting concept. But in the last few days events have come to a head again, ”added Roland Bosch. Exhibitors, visitors and participating partners are currently being informed about the cancellation of the trade fair.
