Austin-Healey 3000 MKII BT7 – 1962

Heritage Certified

This “Big Healey” is fantastic in one word! It doesn’t happen that often that we come across a car that is as well restored, as good to drive and as complete as this Healey. Produced in March 1962 and then delivered to Boston USA.

After purchase by the Dutch owner, a total restoration was started in 2002. The overall condition of the car was excellent and a perfect starting point for this. The entire process has been captured with 350 photos. The end result is there! Fortunately, the car was painted in the color combination in which it was delivered new. Seen by many as the most beautiful combination on an Austin Healey.

Interior and soft top are also matching, as well as the engine and gearbox. We have had the gearbox completely overhauled at Van Munching. A unique option is the original factory hard top, which perfectly complements the color scheme. The hardtop in combination with the mesh grille and the foglights give the car a rugged, rally-like appearance. Would you prefer it with the original grille and sofftop? It’s all possible with this car. The aluminum side screens with accompanying storage bag and the tonneaucover are also present. Naturally supplied with Heritage certificate.
