Austin Healey 100/6 – 1958

Austin Healey 100/6 (BN4), year 1958.
Exterior colour ice blue metallic combined with a dark blue leather interior trimmed with white piping and dark blue carpet. Black soft top and aluminium side-screens.
This is a gorgeous early Austin Healey 100/6 which can be identified by the unique ridge over the centre of the bonnet, and the pointed orange reflector covers at the rear.
The early 100/6 also features a different hood frame and cylinder head than the later models.
This very handsome Briton was imported in the Netherlands in 2004. The automobile is in a very good condition and the car drives superbly.
The big 2.6 litre straight six engine delivers 135 bhp, pulls like a locomotive, and the exhaust note is addictive! The four speed manually operated gearbox shifts snappy and precise.
In the year 2023 the gearbox was overhauled, and the other mechanical components were inspected, adjusted, and made up to date. This “Big Healey” shows most of the wonderful original design features.
To make the car look sportier, the front bumper was removed. Additional Lucas SLR700 ‘flame Thrower’ spot lamps were added at the front and the original wheels were exchanged for rugged MiniLite alloy wheels shod with Michelin XVS tyres. This is a great looking and superbly driving classic Austin Healey.
A British sports car of the purest water which will bring a lot of vintage motoring fun to the enthusiast!
