Triumph TR3 A – 1959

Triumph TR 3A, year 1959.

Colour British Racing Green combined with a tan (beige) leather interior trimmed with beige carpet. The car features a beige hood cover, black mohair soft-top, black side screen frames, and a black mohair tonneau cover.
This gorgeous Triumph TR 3A was extensively restored fifteen years ago in the Netherlands.
A complete photo report of the restoration is present.
Since completion of the restoration the car was sparsely driven and properly garaged. The car is in a superb top condition!
The Triumph TR 3 (A) is one of the British ‘Big Three’ of 1950s sports cars (Austin Healey, MGA, Triumph TR 3) that have conquered the world of automobile racing and rally driving in a period that cars were largely standard and tuned and modified on details only.
This Triumph TR 3A makes one experience the fun of sporty open top motoring as in these glorious days!
The rugged four-cylinder engine produces a healthy 100 bhp and (the then novelty) disc brakes on the front wheels supply ample stopping power.
This gorgeous Triumph TR 3A shows wonderful original details, and everything looks and feels close to brand new! The car is fitted with alloy Minilite style wheels (can be exchanged for wire wheels), two wing mounted rear view mirrors, and K&N sports air-filters.
This Triumph TR 3A is a top notch restored example. The car will be a great addition to a collection, or it will be a wonderful driver car to complete your vintage motoring passion!
