Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 QV – 1988
When we talk about emotion, we are talking about Alfa Romeo.
Or was it the other way around? We have found a very nice example, beautiful paint, beautiful interior and of course the lovely 2.0 liter double cam. No matter how great it sounds, it hangs nicely on the gas, you can hear the double carburettors sucking in wonderfully and the exhaust gives a deep hum.
This Spider type 3 was made from 1983, from 1986 the QV Quardifoglio Verde was added to the range. These QVs were only available in black, red and silver grey, Rosso Alfa, in our case. External features of this version are the larger front spoiler, different side skirts, leather upholstery and the 15” alloy wheels with 12 holes. It is the version you want of course, with 128 hp nice and powerful and the four-leaf clover in the interior always reminds you that you have the special version. The convertible top is like new, leather interior is completely intact, equipped with a modern radio with extra good speakers.
And remember what Jeremy Clarkson said, you’re not a real car enthusiast if you haven’t driven an Alfa Spider!
