Carroll Estes / Owner and Operator of Roadside America Museum. R A Museum is a privately owned collection of 40s and 50s advertising memorabilia, classic cars, and nostalgic Americana.

Carroll is the retired owner of Carroll’s Classic Auto Body in Cedar Hill, Texas. Restoration of Classic Cars and building Street Rods a specialty.

Graduated DeSoto High School 1968. Worked for US Postal Service for twelve years. Spent six in US Air Force Res. as a rigger / parachute specialist. Opened body shop in 1981. Retired from Auto Body in 1995.

Carroll started his advertising memorabilia collection about 1975 and bought the old Ford Dealership building in Downtown Hillsboro in 2005 which now houses his massive collections.

Carroll has been a member of Dallas Area Street Rod Assn. since 1972. Also a member of Lone Star Street Rod Assn. ( State organization ) since 1974, and has proudly been selected as Street Rodder Of The Year for 2017 by the LSSRA directors.
