The by Pininfarina designed Alfa Romeo Spider has known several evolutions and achieved an iconic status over the years.
The Spider 2000 produced between 1970 & 1982 has been the most popular because of its timeless design, exceptional road going qualities and sportive performance.
Our spider is a rust-free specimen. All usual suspects were inspected and given a clean bill of health.
The 2-litre engine equipped with double Weber carburettors (typical for this generation) runs beautifully. The extra horsepower and sportive sound are of course a pleasant consequence. The manual gearbox shifts smoothly and gives you the chance to drive this spirited car as sportily as you like.
The former owner had the car in his possession for over twenty years and took great care of it.
The technical side was extremely well kept also the optical side was not forgotten.
The car was repainted in full & a brand-new soft top was placed this year.
The car is sporting some more modern alloys right now, but the original wheels are present and in good shape.
