Fiat 2300 S Coupé – 1963

Fiat 2300 S Coupé Year of construction 08-08-1963

The Fiat 2300, which has just arrived, is in very good condition, has some patina, but that could hardly be otherwise, it has just passed 60 years. The interior is dreamily beautiful, the engine runs beautifully and sounds fantastic.

Coachwork master Ghia presented the Coupé at the Turin car show as early as 1960, on a 2100 basis and with the intention of building a small series the following year. The 2100 is now being upgraded to 2300, and the coupe immediately benefits from this.

However, Fiat and Ghia miscalculated the number of orders. There is more interest than expected and that means that additional production capacity must be arranged at OSI quickly. This causes delays for early orderers (and is the reason why we can only test it two years after introduction), but fortunately cancellations remain limited. The appearance of the large coupe is more Maserati than Fiat, but with the advantages of maintenance-friendly series technology and a large service network, at a relatively modest price.
