Mercedes-Benz 220 S – 1958

Fantastic W180 convertible

As a Mercedes connoisseur you may know, this 1957 Mercedes 220 s was way ahead when it comes to driving comfort and performance. What drives this nice, quiet and comfortable. The car has been in the past, 1995, restored by Jaap Havik, the legend when it comes to restoration of Mercedes. The car was used for some Rally’s, as the SLS used in 1996. Everything is documented in the attached reference work. The fact that this restoration has been carried out is evident from the state in which the car is now located. It’s totally top.
The wooden dashboard and the other wooden interior finishes are in pristine condition. The car shows all the original details and there are interesting accessories from that time mounted like Becker Mexico radio from the 50s. This beautiful Mercedes 220 S looks and feels like it has hardly been used. The six-cylinder line engine runs smoothly and the four-speed manual gearbox shifts excellently. 32000 km have driven this car since the restoration. This Mercedes-Benz W180 is a great opportunity, where a similar restored Havik car is advertised for 185,000 euros.
