MG MGB 1800 – 1970

Overdrive

MGB roadster, year 1970.

Colour white combined with a black interior. Black leather seats trimmed with white piping, black vinyl door cards and dashboard, and black carpet. Black hood and hood cover.
This beautiful MGB roadster was sold new in the United Kingdom (UK). In the past the automobile was imported to the Netherlands and extensively restored.
The car was restored using a new (left hand drive) body shell by British Motor Heritage.
This delightful British roadster is in a very good condition and the car drives perfectly.
The car shows wonderful original details like the desirable metal dashboard, and is fitted with wire wheels, a sports steering wheel with wood rim and overdrive.
The latter can be seen as an additional electric (5th) gear that lowers the engine speed when driving fast on the motorway.
This MGB roadster is a fantastic time capsule to enjoy sunny evening and weekend drives, and short holiday road trips. The MGB is one of the most practical and comfortable classic roadsters offering ample interior- and boot space, and a comfortable ride. The 90 bhp four-cylinder engine sounds sporty but not intrusive and in combination with the communicative steering the car will offer loads of fun on winding country roads.
This is a very nice example, ready to enjoy this summer!
