Nash Metropolitan 1500 – 1959

Nash Metropolitan, year 1959. Colour red over creme white, combined with a grey / white cloth / vinyl interior trimmed with black carpet. The Nash Metropolitan is an American automobile that was assembled in England and marketed from 1953 until 1961, about 60.000 cars were produced in that period.
The Nash Metropolitan is fitted with the renowned 1500 cc A-series engine from the MGA.
This gorgeous example was extensively restored, the car is in TOP condition, and the car drives perfectly. Costs nor effort were spared aiming for perfection.
The car was modified and uprated on several points; disc brakes were fitted at the front wheels, and a 5-speed Ford gearbox, electronic ignition, and an alternator were fitted.
The Nash Metropolitan shows a lot of character, and the many wonderful details keep popping up looking at the car.
The Nash Metropolitan is an Anglo-American car which finds pride of place in both British as well in American car collections. This is a top example!
