This tremendous Triumph TR6 was imported from the United States (US) in 1996.
Being a low-mileage car (37665) in wonderful condition, the car only needed a repaint in 1997 for the ‘perfect picture’. In the last 28 years the car has known two owners who took excellent care of the car.
The 2.5 Litre six-cylinder engine runs perfectly, the four speed manually operated gearbox shifts robustly and snappy. The overdrive works as it should, like a top gear, lowering the engine revolutions at high road speeds. Over the years, the interior was newly upholstered, the seats were clad in black leather. Other improvements were done like the fitment of electronic ignition, S.U. carburettors, an aluminium rocker cover, and a more powerful brake servo.
The original steel wheels were given new Stainless Steel rim embellishers and shod with Vredestein Sprint Classic Tyres. Furthermore, the car is fitted with two chrome door-mounted rear-view mirrors, a Philips stereo radio, safety belts, and a chrome baggage rack. Currently the odometer shows 63.700 miles, and the car is in a very good condition! The service history is well documented with photos, invoices, and other documents. The Triumph TR6 is one of the most masculine British sportscars offering a lot of classic driving fun, a great soundtrack, and a superb dashboard with a great view over the long bonnet.
