Volkswagen Beetle 1303 cabrio – 1972

Not without reason, the Volkswagen Beetle is the most popular classic car in the Netherlands. Sympathetic, fun to see and very affordable in maintenance are characteristics that the Dutch love. Now the average classic Beetle that you find here in the street scene more often than not suffer from rust spots, the well-known ‘flower coals’ on the doors and crackling running boards are no exception. Exactly the reason why our Beetles have been completely restored or imported from countries where the rust ghost is not really alive. After all, the technique is fairly simple and usually in order, however, poor sheet metal is much less easy to repair. Precious as well. We selected this Beetle Cabriolet on the quality of the body and bottom, absolutely rust free. The toll you often pay for it is a dehydrated convertible roof. We had this renewed by a professional.
Fortunately, the sun had not yet affected the interior, in fact it is still completely original here. The whole car excels in originality, the atmosphere and smell from 1973 is still there. Except for that new, but beautiful, convertible roof.
We drove extensively with the car, the first week of March, with the summer sun a real party! This is the 1303, which has much finer driving characteristics than the old model.
