Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation

Learning from the Past and Embracing the Future to Inspire a Generation

Years ago, Founder, Roderick Wilde, envisioned a non-profit that put visitors in the driver’s seat of an immersive journey, allowing them to interact and test drive the potential future if electric vehicles ruled the roadways. In 2013, the Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation was brought to life as the home of the world’s largest collection of historically significant electric vehicles.

What began as one man’s dream has become something much larger -a mission to share an electric experience, empowering a generation with the knowledge that the power for a sustainable future is in their hands.

Today, everything we do is intentionally designed to offer each person an up-close and tangible interaction with EVs and its technology, past and present, to normalize them, paving the way to a more sustainable world, one electric vehicle at a time.
