Museo del Motor

The inauguration of the Motor Museum in Finestrat, next to Benidorm, marks the culmination of an ambitious project to provide the Marina Baja region of Alicante with facilities of more than 4,000 square meters dedicated to the history of the automobile.

A unique three-story building houses the permanent exhibition of classic vehicles and movie vehicles, as well as an area dedicated to driver education and training, a restoration workshop, a projection room, a children's play area, a restaurant (food truck) and a souvenir and automobilia shop.

In the words of the creator of the museum, "it is about doing something more than a parking lot for vintage cars, we want to involve the visitor, showing them the secrets of our cars and inviting them to learn how these jewels that changed the world work."

The collection is made up of about 60 own vehicles and some others on loan. Among the pieces on display are a 1923 Dodge Brothers, a 1962 Cadillac Fleetwood limousine that belonged to the Spanish government in the Franco era, two Delorean DMC-12s in impeccable condition, or an exclusive Aston Martin Lagonda, of which Only 645 units were built, and of those only 5 were equipped with the sports kit on display.
