RELIVE THE HISTORY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN DAUPHINÉ
In a covered space of more than 3,000 m2 , you will discover the history of public transport in the Grenoble metropolitan area and the Isère department, from its origins, around the middle of the 19th century until the 2000s. It is one of the very first French sites dedicated to trams, buses, trolleybuses and coaches.
The building made available to Standard 216 by the Metro and the SMTC is located in Pont-de-Claix, south of Grenoble. It houses all the vehicles preserved by the association, in a large hall of 2600 m² , with an area reserved for restoration, of approximately 400m² . Along the large hall, 400 m² of offices allow for administrative offices and exhibition rooms.
