The ignition-system in a classic car is often the source of many problems. After years of use, the mechanical distributor becomes worn and increasingly inaccurate. Although replacement of the standard points with an optical eye or magnetic ignition set-up is an improvement, it does not compensate for the wear in the advance-mechanism, the distributor shaft and bearings within the distributor itself.

The 123Ignition TUNE+ system is different
In a 123ignition, all moving parts like the original points, the centrifugal weights, the springs, the bearings and the vacuum-diaphragm have been replaced with just one moving part: the central shaft with the rotor. The internal electronics provide the right advance and the optimum dwell-angle throughout the revolutions range to maintain peak energy and peak performance. There is no wear altering the timing of the 123ignition: once set, you’ll never have to worry about it again!

The 123Tune+ is the first fully programmable wireless ignition.

We are using the original 123ignition electronics. All mechanical parts will be removed and replaced with 123ignition electronics. Your distributor will be cleaned and overhauled. New bearings are build in to take care everything is free of play.

What is 123 ignition
123 Ignition is an electronic ignition method designed for cars which have an old fashioned ignition contact points installed. In other electronic ignitions which are offered (Lumenition, Newtronic & Multic etc), the old distributor and the housing is to be used and thus also the lower work and components. These often give failures because the worn axle caused problems or inadecuate wiring gives failures. At 123ignition-conversions we do it differently. The 123ignition electronics can be purchased in a new distributor housing or by us 123 ignition placed in the old housing. This makes the old character under the hood maintained but you have the most modern ignition that is possible for your engine. At 123 Ignition conversions is disassembled the distributor, modified and blasted with glass beads. New bronze bushings are mounted. The distributor is bench tested and programmed.
For almost all the oldtimer cars we can build in a 123 ignition at 123ignition-conversions. We are specialized in using a 123Ignition in the old ignitionhousing. Therefore we want to have your old ignitionhousing if you have it available. More possibilities today by using bluetooth technology. De 123Ignition-verdeler werkt anders.
In de 123 Ignition-verdeler zijn alle mechanische delen zoals contactpunten, centrifugaal gewichten, veertjes, lagers en de vacuumunit vervangen door één onderdeel: De verdeleras met de magneetschijf. De 123-elektronica in de verdeler zorgt voor de juiste vervroeging bij alle toerentallen. De onderdelen die gebruikt zijn om dee juiste vervroeging bij het juiste toerental te geven zijn niet aan slijtage onderhevig. Eenmaal goed afgesteld blijft goed afgesteld.
Altijd op de juiste tijd en onderhoudsvrij
Maatwerk ; Indien 123 ignition geen passende verdeler voor uw auto levert, kunnen wij met 123ignition-conversions uw bestaande verdeler ombouwen. Wij gebruiken daarvoor de originele electronika van 123ignition. De mechanische delen worden verwijderd, het huis wordt schoongemaakt en compleet gereviseerd. Daarna wordt de electronica van de 123igition gemonteerd. De eventuele vacuüm unit wordt doorgeboord en via een slangetje verbonden met de mini vacuüm unit op de printplaat. Alles ziet er origineel en als nieuw uit.
De 123 elektronica wordt in uw originele ontstekingshuis ingebouwd en ziet eruit als origineel, maar inwendig is een hi-tech computergestuurd ontstekingssysteem gemonteerd.
